Ferret Records Music Gallery Instructions

The usage of this gallery is intended for band and acts who wish to have their band/ act and music available for music industry professionals. It is not a depository for your personal stuff. It is not a backup depository. We are not responsible for any content that becomes extinct on this server. (Shit happens) Any content not appropriate will be deleted.

A demo gallery is set up as an illustration.

Set up an account and respond to e-mail link sent to your e-mail address.
1. When setting up your account, make the user name the name of your band or act.
Log in to your account and create an album.
Select you album and add objects to the album. Objects are files that can be pictures, music (MP3 format- This lets the music content/ files to be played directly from our server), videos, and documents (documents in PDFs format can be displayed directly from our server).
Currently there is no limit to the numbers of albums and objects contained in an album.
Some music file formats may not upload if they exceed 21 mega bites. (use MP3 format) Some files exceeding 21-mega bite may not upload.
Any objects that are uploaded and do not open on our server can be down loaded by using the tool bar above the object/ file. Use the down green arrow.
Commercial content/ files are prohibited. The owner of the account must be the owner of the content/ files uploaded or have permission to upload the content/ files.

What happens after I submit material

If you submit material using the Music Gallery, the material can stay until you remove it.
Visitors can look read and listen to your material.
Please do not ask who, when, and where stops by. That information is proprietary and not divulged to anyone.
Any material not appropriate will be removed.

PLease note:
You do not give up any rights when you submit material using the Ferret Records Music Gallery.

Please use the Music Gallery when submitting material.
We no longer accept material through the Service Portal.

Please note, we do not sign acts.

How to submit songs, CDs, and videos

Goto the Music Gallery
Create an account
Upload your music, video, pics, bios, and any other files or material. (See Music Gallery Demo for example)
See instructions in the Music Gallery for more information.

How to apply for an E-mail account.

How to apply for an E-Mail account

Go to the Services Portal and select Submit a ticket.
Next, select a department. In this case, select E-Mail.
Complete the form. All entries with a red dot must be filled in.
The password you enter is a temporary password and must be changed when you log in for the first time.
Be sure to enter a complete home address, street, city, state, zip code.
Use the Message Body to describe actions required.
Do not attach any files for this ticket.
Fill in the special code to make sure that you are a real person.
Click on the submit ticket icon.
Done.
You will receive a E-mail when your account is active. This may take a couple days. Remember to change your temporary password.
